Speaking at a Church crusade recently Pastor Kumuyi said Nigerians can expect positive change from the new ministers, only if they believe in God and pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his ministers, ENigeria Newspaper reports.
In a video clip currently circulating social media, while speaking to newsmen on Tuesday ahead of his church’s Global Crusade starting on Thursday, Kumuyi urged Nigerians to leave behind the past and embrace the new leaders.
He said: “Those ministers that have been chosen in the cabinet are not new people that have never done anything. If you look at them one by one, you will see the good things they have done if we support them, if we are not criticizing every step and they don’t know where to stand, if we accept them. We believe that God will work through them, He will use them as instruments to build our nation.”
“Let’s forget the past, this is a new day, and I believe and we all believe we are going to see new things for our country through our president and through the members of the cabinet. Good things will happen.”
Meanwhile, since the video dropped, angry netizens have since come for the revered man of God on X (former Twitter), expressing disappointment over his comment. ENigeria Newspaper observed that the cleric is currently trending on X while dotting the number two position on the x-trend map.
