The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nyesom Wike, has pledged to resurrect the city’s master plan.
According to Wike, who was in excellent spirits on Monday, August 21, President Bola Tinubu predicts favorable advances in the FCT.
He expressed displeasure over what he considered to be a high level of insecurity in the nation’s capital.
The minister stated that land allottees who have been issued Certificates of Occupancy but have not developed will also lose their lands to make room for those eager to construct at a press conference at the FCTA following the swearing-in ceremony at the Presidential Villa.
He said:
“If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down. It will never be business as usual.”
