Wizkid and mother
The renowned music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, reportedly lost his mother close sources to the internationally acclaimed singer revealed.
Multiple sources close to Wizkid hinted at the news earlier in the day, but since the singer had maintained silence since the incident allegedly occurred, many have refrained from spreading the news.
However, confirming the incident, Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are said, Mrs. Balogun died in the early hours of Friday.
“Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am,” Aare said.
Mrs. Balogun who is said to be a pillar of support for her son’s flourishing career, and often seen showing her support for him from the sidelines at concerts died in the wee hours of today, Friday, August 18, 2023, another source who spoke to ENigeria Newspaper confirmed on Friday evening.
