Tinubu Wins Atiku, Obi, As Supreme Court Rules On Winning 25% in FCT…

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won at the Supreme Court as his election was finally upheld in a ruling by the Apex Court moments ago.

ENigeria News reports that they struck out Atiku Abubakar’s appeal on the grounds that it lacked merit, hence affirming the earlier decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

The apex court has supported the judgment of the tribunal for striking out witnesses of Atiku Abubakar’s testimonies on manipulation in the election.

The court described Atiku’s witnesses’ testimonies as hearsays.

According to Justice Inyang Okoro, “A political party can’t appoint an octopus agent who will be at every polling unit on election day.
“Atiku’s agents can only testify in their polling units where they witnessed what they saw, but not across the country where they were not present.”

I adopt the decision of the lower court which is in line with a plethora of precedents. The witnesses’ testimonies were hearsay.”
The finding of the lower court in discountenancing the Atiku’s witnesses cannot be faulted.”

Supreme Court Rules on Scoring 25% of votes in FCT…

The Supreme Court has agreed with the Court of Appeal that the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is like other states.

The presiding justice of the panel, Justice Okoro, asked, “Are you saying if someone scores 25% votes in 30 states but not in Abuja, he should not be president? Is that how you interpret the law?

“That is not the law. Supreme Court agrees with the Court of Appeal,” he added.
