Aisha Bello – NTA Broadcaster is Dead

Aisha Bello, a veteran broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) is dead.

Aisha Bello a former General Manager of NTA was a prominent journalist whose strides and achievements in the media are considered gargantuan.

ENigeria News reports that her death was announced in a statement released by her family, stating that she died on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

The statement by the family described her as a kind-hearted person who will be greatly missed by all. The statement is produced below:

Aisha Bello Mustapha is Dead, Family Says…

The family stated in a statement conveying the news of her demise, “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma.”

The Funeral Prayer is scheduled to take place at the central mosque in Abuja at 1 pm on Monday, 11th December 2023. May her soul rest in peace.

Career In Broadcast Journalism:

Aisha Bello Mustapha started her broadcasting journey by acquiring a degree in mass communication and media studies from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Kano before venturing to kickstart a career in journalism at NTA.

The former general manager of NTA Parliament reportedly passed away on Monday.

She was among the popular broadcasters on the NTA Network News at Nine in the 1990s and early 2000s.
he retired in May 2022 after 35 years.
A funeral prayer has been scheduled at the Central Mosque in Abuja at 1:00 p.m. Monday.
