Pete Edochie, a Nollywood veteran actor and father of controversial actor Yul Edochie has spoken up on the alleged second marriage of his son.

You would recall that Yul Edochie, one of the sons of the veteran actor has been in the news since he reportedly took a second wife, Judy Austin at the expense of his marriage May his first wife.

ENigeria Newspaper reports that news of Yul Edochie’s second wife has remained in the front burner since it was public, with accusations and counter-accusations from parties close to Yul, Judy, and May flying around.

Months ago, ENigeria Newspaper broke news of the death of Kambili Edochie, son of Yul and May Edochie who just turned 16 at the time and there were indications that the young chap was allegedly poisoned by an unnamed individual. The death of Kambi further fractured May and Yul Edochie’s marriage, with the former retreating into her shell until recently.

Only days back, there were reports of May filing for divorce officially and as well suing her now estranged hubby (Yul) and Judy of adultery through her attorney, Femi Falana.

In reaction to the development, Pete Edochie who spoke in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, “Suddenly we heard he has picked up a second wife- Pete Edochie reveals he was not involved in the process of his son, Yul, picking Judy as a second wife.”

During the interview, Edochie who acknowledged the intellectual sagacity of his daughter-in-law and credited the success of his son’s marriage largely to her (May), said he has five sons and he never interferes in their businesses unless they inform him. He said he heard that Yul had picked a second wife just like every other person heard.

The movie legend spoke glowingly of May Yul Edochie and said that the success of her marriage to Yul is largely to her credit.

He went on to say that many people have been advising May wrongly by trying to sunder her union with Yul and that most of the women advising her do not have happy homes.
