Biography
Zaphaniah Jisalo was born on 3rd April, 1970.
He completed his primary education at Garki Primary School and his Secondary education at Government Secondary School, Karu, Abuja.
He has a degree in education from the University of Jos, Plateau State.
In a quest for more knowledge, Hon. Jisalo obtained an Advanced Diploma in Applied Psychology and Diploma in Criminal Justice and Administration at the University of Jos, Plateau State.
He also has a Diploma in Public Relations from the Institute of Mass Communication and Technology.
He studied Government Policies, planning and Implementation at the Thames Valley University in London, UK.
Career
Between 1990 to 2002, Hon Jisalo worked with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In 2004, he was elected Chairman Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) and re-elected in 2007 until 2010.
In 2011, Hon Jisalo was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent Abuja Municipal/Bwari Constituency.
As at the time, he served in different House Committees including; Sports, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Defense, Customs & Excise, Appropriations, and National Security & Security. He is a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He was re-elected in 2015 and still serves at the FCT Area Councils and Ancillary Matters Committee. His legislative interest is law making.
