24-year-old Salome Adaidu, who was allegedly beheaded by her boyfriend, Timileyin Ajayi, a gospel singer, in Nasarawa state, Nigeria has sparked emotions online among netizens

You would recall that men of the Nigerian Police arrested Ajayi on Thursday with the severed head of the victim who was later discovered to be his girlfriend.

ENigeria Newspaper reports that the suspect, Timileyin Ajayi was found carrying the head in a bag, which drew attention from other people who accosted him before the police took over and arrested him. Other dismembered parts of the deceased’s body were later recovered from his home.

The deceased was a member of the National Youth Service Corps serving in Abuja. Meanwhile, the police have since launched launched an investigation into the incident.

The victim’s family has urged the Nigerian government to thoroughly investigate and prosecute those responsible for her death. Friends and family members have taken to social media to mourn her death and demand justice.

Nigerians on social media have been sending messages of support and condolence to the family of the deceased, with many calling for justice to be served. Some netizens are also considering raising funds to support the family in this difficult time.
