President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to participate in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) summit, a global gathering of leaders focused on sustainable development and socio-economic progress.

The President’s attendance at the summit is aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s partnerships with other countries and exploring opportunities for economic growth and development.

During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to deliver a keynote address highlighting his administration’s efforts to promote sustainable development and address the challenges of climate change.

He will also hold bilateral meetings with leaders from other countries, including the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss areas of cooperation and mutual interest.

The ADSW summit, which runs from January 12 to 18, brings together global leaders, policymakers, business leaders, and civil society representatives to discuss strategies for achieving sustainable development and advancing socio-economic progress.

President Tinubu’s delegation to the summit includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar; the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.

The President’s attendance at the ADSW summit is seen as a significant step towards promoting Nigeria’s economic and diplomatic interests on the global stage.
