Following her divorce saga and hiatus from the social scene, Annie Idibia appears to have gotten back her mojo, cleaned up nicely, upgraded her wardrobe, and made a huge comeback to the social scene, reviving her social media presence and beginning to mix with friends again.
ENigeria News published a report day back citing how Natasha Osawaru Igbinedia had added Idibia to her Instagram bio, thus fueling speculations of a possible secret nuptials with 2Face Idibia, but close family sources have refused to speak to us when our correspondent reached out over the weekend.
Natasha’s move came days after Annie had personally signed an Instagram post with her maiden name, Annie Uwana Macaulay, obviously leaving out Idibia.
Annie Idibia returns to Social Scene
ENigeria News observed that since publishing an appreciation post thanking friends and family for standing by her, Annie has conspicuously been spotted in several gatherings with friends and close allies.
The mother of two and now estranged wife of Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, aka 2Face, had been spotted cruising in exotic cars, traveling in a private jet, and attending several events and hangouts comprising of her friends and supporters.
Her social media presence has also increased lately, with goodwill messages from women support groups flooding her comment section.
Annie wrote: To my family, to my friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family HERE and all over the world. God bless you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you, and I do not take any of it for granted; may the universe continue to be in your favor. God Bless You All. Lots of LOVE. Annie Uwana Macaulay.”
A close observation shows that the estranged Mrs. Idibia has visibly cleaned up and upgraded her wardrobe or changed her stylist in preparation for the next episode of her life’s journey into single motherhood.
Like Annie, Like May Edochie and others
Flooding the comment section of Annie Idibia in solidarity were concerned friends and mostly women like Iyabo Ojo, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, May Yul-Edochie, Angela Okorie, Omoni Oboli, and others.
The scenario calls to heart the incident with May and Yul Edochie’s marriage saga, when women rallied around May and provided moral support for her, arranging gigs, movie roles, and endorsements for her. Would Annie’s support base do the same for her at this time? It remains to be seen.
