Following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment of Tijani to the position of minister, an old tweet criticizing the government reappeared.
He responded to numerous people in a contentious tweet he posted on July 23, 2019, that stated, “It is becoming the norm. With his’serving power a la carte’ knowledge, Tinubu fed them that false story. If you want to spread such a false story, go invest your time and money in your business.
Following the tweet’s reappearance on social media, people commented on it. Tijani’s position was questioned by a social media users with one asking, “Do you now agree that power is never provided a la carte and it is never a garbage narrative? Senator Abdulfatai Buhari of the Oyo North Senatorial District questioned Tijani about “On the 21st of July 2019, Dr. Bosun tweeted against Nigeria that he does not appreciate the Nigerian passport and Nigeria as a nation” during his ministerial screening in the senate.
