Earlier on Thursday morning, employees of the Department of State Security (DSS) were seen manhandling a reporter said to be staff of TVC News alongside her cameraman.
ENigeria News reports that the incident occurred at the resumed trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, before a new judge at the Federal High Court Abuja.
Operatives of the DSS prevented TVCNews Cameraman from taking a video of Mr. Kanu as he walked into the courtroom in Abuja.
The operatives visibly shoved the cameraman and pushed him out of the court.
It was earlier reported that Nnamdi Kanu, who is standing trial for a number of allegations, including treason, among others, will be defending himself in court while his lawyers will be around to monitor brief.
