Uju Ohaneye got her First School Leaving Certificate at W.T.C Primary School, Enugu from there she proceeded to Queens Secondary School for her secondary education.
She graduated with a degree in law from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra state.
She then went to the Nigerian Law School in Lagos where she had her Barrister in Law certificate.

Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye is a Christian and married to Chief Kennedy Ohaneye, a famous legal practitioner from Awo-Omamma in Imo State and they are both blessed with four children.
Career
She started her legal practice immediately after completion of her National service. Prior to her academic titles, she was engaged in writing novels centered on legal education during her early years.
She also authored and published a book called ‘Eze Chidi and His 7 Wives’ which was later translated into Hebrew and sold in Israel.
The multi-talented and industrous Barr. Uju Ohaneye also ventured into businesses and later founded Kenuj Investment Limited to her name with a keen interest in vast areas including real estate.
She is the Proprietress of Kenuj Angels School, Abuja; MD/CEO of Kenuj O2 Malls in Abuja and Owerri and the Executive Producer of the Kenuj Love Drops TV Show.
During the 2022 APC presidential primaries, Barr. Uju Ohaneye was the only female presidential aspirant of the All Progressive Congress (APC) but later stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and later in 2023, during the 2023 APC presidential campaign, she was appointed as the Vice Chairperson of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in the South East geopolitical Zone.
Barr. Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye is a member of many professional bodies including Institute of Loan and Risk Management, Institute of Information and Strategy Management amongst others.
