‘Davido Twins’ is the major keywords netizens appear to have descended on in search for news about the singer’s reported bundle of joy, said to have been born hours ago.
ENigeria News reports that while netizens were enveloped in joy following news of the arrival of Davido’s twins, there appears to be a cloud of uncertainties hovering around the news since it first broke online when a famous Facebook influencer posted it.
Celebrities Confirm Arrival of Davido’s Twins
Among the list of celebrities who confirmed the news of Davido’s twin is Iyabo Ojo, a famous, but controversial Nollywood actress who shared a video of the Afrobeat musician along with his wife Chioma in a hospital in the United States of America, as they “welcome twins”, in her own words.
On Wednesday morning, while confirming the news, Iyabo Ojo wrote: “Congratulations, @thechefchi & @davido, on your jewels of inestimable values. God’s protection, provision, and happiness forever.” Taking to the actress’s comments section, an Instagram user @Sharonmoses wrote: “Iyabo this is an old video of Ifeanyi’s birth.”
Responding to her, the movie star said “@officialsharonmoses it’s yesterday’s video dear.”
Other celebrities who also joined the congratulations train are, Victoria Inyama, Junior Pope, and Daddy Freeze.
On his part, Daddy Freeze who is considered to be reasonably close to the couple also shared the news on his Instagram Live and also congratulated the couple. “Congratulations To Davido As His Wife Chioma Gives Birth”, he wrote.
Davido Breaks Silence on Arrival of His Twins
Something remains confusing since news of Davido’s twins broke online. Neither the singer nor any member of his family nor crew had neither confirmed nor denied the news.
However, moments ago Davido while responding to the news in a rather weird manner, wrote: “Stop Circulating old pictures thank you”.
Davido’s reaction moments ago generated another round of mixed feelings, hence casting doubt on the authenticity of the viral news.
