On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu’s newly nominated ministers started filling out their paperwork.
The documentation Which is Currently taking place at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation in Abuja, the documentation exercise is expected to be finished by Sunday.
Recall that on Thursday, Nnamdi Mbaeri, the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Office of the Secretary to the Federation, issued a statement that highlighted the need for the ministers to bring their curriculum vitae, birth certificate or age declaration, and two passport photos.
It was further highlighted, “Ministers-designate should note that their documentation is slated for the Conference Room, General Services Office, Second Floor, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, from 10 am to 4 pm on both Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20.”
Additionally, during this documentation step, each minister-designate is required to supply the names of three guests who will be able to access the venue.
The 45 minister-designates, who were just confirmed by the Senate, had their portfolios made public on Wednesday.
On Monday, President Bola Tinubu will conduct a swearing-in ceremony at the Presidential Villa in Abuja where these ministers will formally take their oaths.
