The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, a women leader of the City Boys Movement, wanted.
A notice issued by the EFCC on Monday via X said Tejuosho has been declared wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence. The notice was signed by Dele Oyewale, Head of Media and Publicity for the EFCC.
The anti-graft organization urged anyone with relevant information regarding her location to get in touch with any of its offices across the country.
Additionally, the commission advised the public to report to the closest police station or other security services, or to contact it by phone or email.
Recall that Tejuosho was recently named the South-West Zonal Women Leader by the City Boy Movement.
Tejuosho has been appointed to strategically lead and coordinate women-focused activities in the zone, including political mobilization, civic engagement, and advocacy signed by the City Boy Movement.
Who is Halimat Adenike Tejuosho?
Apart from being a politician, Halimat Adenike Tejuosho is a businesswoman and founder of the Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation (QATFoundation).
She has a strong understanding of organizational systems and is a well educated professional. Her endeavours in entrepreneur were inspired by her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Two months ago, she was appointed, alongside other personalities, as one of the women leaders of the City Boy Movement owned by Seyi Tinubu.
