Drama ensued at the floor of the National Assembly as Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, formally filed a petition against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, accusing him of sexual harassment.
Senator Natasha Akpoti, representing Kogi Central in the Senate, speaking under Order 40 of the Senate Rules on Wednesday morning stated that she had previously raised the allegations in an interview on Arise TV and had now chosen to present them officially before the Senate.
ENigeria News reports that in response, Akpabio permitted her to proceed with the submission.
