Dr George Chimezie Nweke, a former Head of Service under suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara, has openly accused the governor of conniving with his chief of staff, Edison Ehie to burn down the House of Assembly complex in Rivers State.
In a video seen by ENigeria News and reproduced below, the immediate past Rivers Head of Service who was reportedly asked to resign by the state’s sole administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas said, “A bag of money was handed over to Chief of Staff Edison Ehie, who rallied his boys to carry out the dastardly act.”
