American actor and entertainer Donald Gibb has passed away at the age of 71.
Donald Gibb was well-known for playing the large but endearing fraternity brother “Ogre” in the 1980s “Revenge of the Nerds” trilogy.
He passed away on May 12 following a protracted struggle with unidentified health problems, according to family members who spoke with TMZ. At the time of his death, he was at home in Texas with family, including his kids.
Travis, his son, verified that the Hollywood star passed away at his Texas residence, surrounded by his loved ones, including his children. According to reports, Gibb loved the Lord, his family, friends, and fans with all of his heart.

He was also well-known to television viewers from his role as the beloved linebacker Leslie “Dr. Death” Krunchner in HBO’s football comedy “1st & Ten.” Additionally, Gibb made appearances in other television shows, such as “The A-Team,” “MacGyver,” “Cheers,” and “The X-Files.”
He was praised for his role alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in the martial arts movie “Bloodsport” in 1988. He then appeared in the Will Smith movie “Hancock” in 2008.
Gibb, who was born in New York and grew up in California, played basketball and football at the University of New Mexico before moving to the University of San Diego. Before his acting career, he briefly played for the San Diego Chargers, according to IMDB.
