The Rainbow Event Centre where the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is holding its convention appears very stuffy as leaders and members appear to be hand-fanning themselves while seated.
A video, as obtained by ENigeria Newspaper, while its monitored the event via Arise TV streaming, showed that the event centre does not have enough fans and air-conditioners as leaders, members and stakeholders of the party had to resort to handfans to ease themselves.’
Most notable is the former Kano state governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso, whose aide has to fan in voraciously as the ADC chieftain appears uncomfortable on his seat.
This situation reflects the preceding change of plans of event for the convention. Recall that the ADC, through its spokesperson Bolaji Abdullah, has accused the ruling government of not approving its request to use the Eagles Square and Velodrome Square in Abuja. The party had to resort to the Rainbow Event Centre to hold the convention, albeit leaving it very late to make necessary plans.
The Minister of the FCT had however retorted that the ADC did not make any request for the use of both the Eagles Square and Velodrome.
